Notably, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, Part A, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, Part B, Critical Reviews. Dr. Kacew is also the North American Editor for Toxicological and Environmental Chemistry and holds an Associate Editor role in Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology, among others. His extensive publication portfolio includes over 150 papers, reviews, and book chapters, with a focus on general toxicology, including renal, hepatic, and pulmonary toxicology. Additionally, he is a Member of the Board of Trustees for Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA).

Margaret Wilson holds a BSc, BEd, and MSc in Molecular Biology, with post-graduate certificates in Population Health Risk Assessment and Management. She has worked extensively in health risk research, from BSE risk management to foodborne hazards. Currently at RSI, her focus includes risk prioritization and addressing challenges related to climate change. Margaret's multidisciplinary background equips her to tackle complex risk issues effectively.

Emma Hartnett is an internationally recognized expert in risk assessment, specializing in toxicological, microbiological, and nutritional hazards. She holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology and a Ph.D. in Statistics and Modelling Science, where her thesis work focused on quantitative risk assessment for campylobacter infection from chicken. Hartnett has developed a variety of decision support tools addressing issues from infectious diseases to bioterrorism preparedness. She frequently contributes to WHO and FAO initiatives, and has been selected for the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Meetings on Microbiological Risk Assessment Roster of Experts for 2018-2022.

Dr. Nataliya Karyakina brings extensive expertise in toxicology and risk assessment to RSI. With a Ph.D. in Toxicology and experience at the McLaughlin Centre for Population Health Risk Assessment, she specializes in evaluating health risks from exposure to various toxic agents. Her research spans essential and toxic metals, pharmaceuticals, and nanomaterials. She has contributed to projects on chemical classification and labeling, as well as health-based regulatory guidance. Currently, she focuses on the health effects of engineered nanoalumina and diagnostic criteria for occupational manganism.

Paul Stanish holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Carleton University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Nanotechnology from the University of Waterloo. His doctoral research focused on energy movement in semiconducting oxides. Paul has experience in analytical chemistry and has developed Android applications for risk management in options trading. He joined Risk Sciences International in 2021, focusing on leveraging emerging tools to modernize client understanding of risk and streamline data culture.

Dr. James Gomes, PhD is an Associate Expert with Risk Sciences International and an associate professor at the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences, University of Ottawa. Dr. Gomes is affiliated with the Institute of Population Health, Institute of Environment, and Center for Advanced Research in Environmental Genomics.

John Lark is a globally recognized expert in risk management, with a distinguished career spanning leadership roles in research, committee chairing, and board-level facilitation. He collaborates with international bodies, including the OECD, US EPA, and ISO. Mr. Lark's expertise extends to speaking engagements at prominent conferences worldwide. He holds the CPRM certification and actively contributes to ISO committees. His extensive board experience includes chairing two not-for-profit boards and participating in major charities. He earned the ICD.D designation through the Director's Education Program. Mr. Lark authored the international ISO Guide for implementing ISO 31000:2009.

Natalia Shilnikova earned her medical degree and a PhD in Medical Sciences, focusing on epidemiology related to nuclear facilities. She moved to Canada in 2007, joining the University of Ottawa McLaughlin Centre for Population Health Risk Assessment. Since joining Risk Sciences International in 2011, Dr. Shilnikova has worked on projects involving toxicology, epidemiology, and human health risk assessment, including systematic reviews and toxicity profiles for various chemicals and drugs. She has also contributed to post-approval surveillance of novel cancer drugs.

Rosanna Wong holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of Waterloo, with diverse co-op experiences ranging from aquaculture research in the Netherlands to botany collections in Canada. She transitioned into risk analysis, initially as a Junior Analyst at Risk Sciences International, focusing on food safety and public health. Currently, she conducts research on food safety, transportation, and climate change, and leads the development of a climate resilience tool that integrates both qualitative and quantitative data.

Greg Paoli earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Waterloo, specializing in engineering and systems design. His early career involved diverse research projects at the University of Waterloo's Institute for Risk Research. Greg later founded Decisionalysis Risk Consultants in 1997 and co-founded Risk Sciences International in 2006. He has served on multiple high-profile committees, including those under the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. As CEO of Risk Sciences International, Greg focuses on risk-based regulatory transformations and has developed enabling technologies like FDA-iRISK. His work spans various sectors, from food and chemical safety to public health, and he continues to contribute to the advancement of risk-based decision-making methodologies.
