His research delves into how pathogens survive and spread via water, food, air, waste, and surfaces. Funding for his work comes from peer-reviewed sources and research contracts. He offers expertise to national and international agencies and the private sector. With an extensive publication record and over 350 invited lectures worldwide, Dr. Sattar's contributions to the field are substantial. Notable works include the 2013 reference text "Principles and Practice of Disinfection, Preservation & Sterilization" (5th ed; Wiley-Interscience). He's received several professional honors, including the M.S. Favero Lectureship, Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Hygieia Gold Medal.

Dr. Peter Aggett, a Pediatrician specializing in Gastroenterology, Metabolism, and Chemical Pathology, focuses on essential trace elements in health and disease. He holds the position of Emeritus Head at Lancashire School of Health and Postgraduate Medicine and is a Professor of Child Health and Nutrition at the University of Central Lancashire. For nearly two decades, he has been applying this multidisciplinary perspective in the development of science-based and risk-based solutions for clients. His team specializes in creating IT solutions that support risk-informed decision-making, utilizing either custom web applications or off-the-shelf software such as Excel, Analytica, and R.

Emma Hartnett is an internationally recognized expert in risk assessment, specializing in toxicological, microbiological, and nutritional hazards. She holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology and a Ph.D. in Statistics and Modelling Science, where her thesis work focused on quantitative risk assessment for campylobacter infection from chicken. Hartnett has developed a variety of decision support tools addressing issues from infectious diseases to bioterrorism preparedness. She frequently contributes to WHO and FAO initiatives, and has been selected for the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Meetings on Microbiological Risk Assessment Roster of Experts for 2018-2022.
