Greg Paoli
Greg Paoli earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Waterloo, specializing in engineering and systems design. His early career involved diverse research projects at the University of Waterloo's Institute for Risk Research. Greg later founded Decisionalysis Risk Consultants in 1997 and co-founded Risk Sciences International in 2006. He has served on multiple high-profile committees, including those under the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. As CEO of Risk Sciences International, Greg focuses on risk-based regulatory transformations and has developed enabling technologies like FDA-iRISK. His work spans various sectors, from food and chemical safety to public health, and he continues to contribute to the advancement of risk-based decision-making methodologies.

Michael G. Tyshenko
With interdisciplinary training in Life Sciences, Public Health, and Public Administration, Dr. Michael G. Tyshenko specializes in health risk communication and policy. He collaborates globally on infectious disease research, including SARS, MERS, and COVID-19, and leads chemical peer reviews at Risk Sciences International (RSI). His work also extends to pandemic planning in Nepal, focusing on drone delivery of medical supplies to remote areas. Tyshenko's expertise is sought by various government departments in Canada and abroad.
James Gomes
Dr. James Gomes, PhD is an Associate Expert with Risk Sciences International and an associate professor at the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences, University of Ottawa. Dr. Gomes is affiliated with the Institute of Population Health, Institute of Environment, and Center for Advanced Research in Environmental Genomics.
Tee L. Guidotti
Dr. Tee L. Guidotti is an esteemed international consultant in occupational and environmental medicine, specializing in risk management and sustainability. His work encompasses problem-solving, medical evaluation, medicolegal services, and extensive publishing and writing. Although retired from the George Washington University, he maintains active roles in teaching and research, holding adjunct faculty positions at West Virginia University and the University of Alberta. His interests span energy technologies, firefighter health, climate change adaptation, and science policy. Dr. Guidotti's contributions include over 300 papers, eight books, and numerous awards, notably the Knudsen Award for Lifetime Achievement in Occupational and Environmental Medicine in 2013. His focus now centers on environmental sustainability and health.
Todd Ruthman
Todd Ruthman graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1992 with a BASc in Systems Design Engineering. This educational background instilled in him a fascination for understanding the integrated interactions among people, nature, and technology. For nearly two decades, he has been applying this multidisciplinary perspective in the development of science-based and risk-based solutions for clients. His team specializes in creating IT solutions that support risk-informed decision-making, utilizing either custom web applications or off-the-shelf software such as Excel, Analytica, and R.
William Leiss
Dr. William Leiss held the NSERC/SSHRC Research Chair in Risk Communication and Public Policy at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, from 1999 to 2005. He has a substantial consulting background, collaborating with industry and various Canadian government departments on risk communication, risk management, public consultation, and multi-stakeholder consensus-building processes. Dr. Leiss has provided expertise on diverse issues, including pesticides, toxic chemicals, tobacco, prescription drugs, electric & magnetic fields, and genetic engineering. He earned his PhD from the University of California at San Diego.
