Todd Ruthman serves as Vice‑President, Software and Modelling Solutions at Risk Sciences International (RSI) and has been with RSI since its founding in 2006. With a BASc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Todd strives to understand the complex interactions in systems - a perspective that he channels into the design of data-driven, evidence-based decision-support applications for RSI’s clients. His team crafts custom IT solutions and leverages tools such as SQL Server, .NET,  Python, Excel, and R, to translate complex risk scenarios into interactive decision-support platforms.

Daniel Krewski began his career in the federal government of Canada, focusing on programs within Health Canada, particularly in food safety and environmental health. Trained in mathematics, statistics, and biostatistics, his multidisciplinary background reflects the complex nature of risk science. He later transitioned to academia, founding the McLaughlin Centre for Population Health Risk Assessment at the University of Ottawa. There, he developed new methodologies and collaborated internationally. In 2006, he co-founded Risk Sciences International, aiming to provide expert advice on diverse risk issues. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping risk assessment frameworks used by organizations like Health Canada and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In 2023, Dr. Krewski passed the CEO's baton to Greg Paoli; he remains active as RSI Chief Risk Scientist.

As a Microbiologist with Risk Sciences International, Dr. Sattar contributes his deep expertise in pathogen ecology, environmental microbiology, and infection control technologies to support RSI’s work in health risk assessment and risk mitigation. His insights guide RSI’s contributions to evidence-based disinfection strategies, microbial exposure modelling, and policy-relevant evaluations of infectious disease risk across water, air, food, and surface-contact pathways.

Greg Paoli earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Waterloo, specializing in engineering and systems design. His early career involved diverse research projects at the University of Waterloo's Institute for Risk Research. Greg later founded Decisionalysis Risk Consultants in 1997 and co-founded Risk Sciences International in 2006. He has served on multiple high-profile committees, including those under the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. As CEO of Risk Sciences International, Greg focuses on risk-based regulatory transformations and has developed enabling technologies like FDA-iRISK. His work spans various sectors, from food and chemical safety to public health, and he continues to contribute to the advancement of risk-based decision-making methodologies.

Jennifer Go holds a BHSc in Health Sciences and an M.Sc. in Epidemiology, both from the University of Ottawa. Her academic work has spanned epigenetics, mental illness, and environmental exposures. Joining Risk Sciences International in 2017 as a Risk Analyst, she specializes in epidemiology. Jennifer's skill set includes systematic reviews, data manipulation, and statistical modeling. She has worked on diverse projects, ranging from pharmacoeconomic evaluations to analyses involving large datasets and electronic health records.

Dr. Anne Wiles joined Risk Sciences International (RSI) in 2008, where she currently serves as a Senior Analyst specializing in risk communication, perception, and governance. With a distinctive blend of expertise in language, regulation, and the use of science in decision-making, Anne has contributed to a wide range of RSI projects focused on the human and institutional dimensions of risk. Her work includes developing health risk communication strategies and drafting publicly accessible scientific information, advising on public messaging for nuclear energy and nuclear waste management, and supporting regulatory agencies in the evaluation and management of complex risk portfolios. She has been deeply involved in several RSI projects examining how mandates, institutional contexts, and public attitudes shape regulatory decision-making across federal domains. Anne has also contributed to scholarly work at RSI, including co-authoring a scoping review on the evolution of health and environmental risk decision-making, an article on the potential health risks associated with aluminum, and a book chapter on public concerns related to blood safety. In addition to her project work, Anne is a university instructor, teaching two courses: a broad overview of societal approaches to risk, and a graduate seminar on risk management in government, where she integrates academic theory with real-world regulatory case studies and risk communication practice.

Margaret Wilson is a Senior Risk Analyst at Risk Sciences International (RSI), where she has been a foundational member since the company’s inception in 2006. Drawing on a rare combination of scientific breadth and analytical precision, Margaret has supported and led a wide range of multidisciplinary projects spanning microbial and chemical food safety, prion diseases, climate-related risk prioritization, and global regulatory systems.

As a Risk Management Expert at RSI, John Lark brings a wealth of practical and policy-level experience to support strategic risk frameworks, enterprise-level risk reviews, and board advisory services. He contributes to RSI projects that require deep knowledge of international standards (especially ISO 31000) and risk integration into organizational governance and operations. His advisory scope spans both public and private sector clients, often at the interface of policy, compliance, and strategic foresight.

Dr. Franco Momoli joined Risk Sciences International (RSI) in 2019 and currently serves as Vice-President, Chemical and Product Safety. In this role, he leads a multidisciplinary team of epidemiologists, risk assessors, toxicologists, and biostatisticians in conducting human health risk assessments related to environmental contaminants and consumer products. His practice group supports government agencies, regulatory bodies, and international partners in making science-informed decisions that safeguard public health.

Dr. Michael G. Tyshenko is a Senior Health Risk Analyst at Risk Sciences International (RSI), where he has contributed since 2018 to some of the organization’s most complex and cross-cutting public health risk projects. As RSI’s lead on chemical peer reviews, he brings extensive experience in regulatory science, biological risk, and science-policy integration to high-stakes evaluations that require both deep expertise and clear communication.
