RSI develops new fit-for-purpose methods to advance risk assessment (Value of Information, Bayesian Networks for Causality Determination, Public Health Approaches). Our staff has published prolifically and regularly participate in expert panels including for large national scientific academies and United Nations agencies. Some of our endeavors have involved modernizing evidence integration practices, development of quantitative weight of evidence approaches, and development of a framework for structuring specific or broad risk assessment questions (e.g., APRIO for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)). The team has expertise with a wide selection of statistical and coding environments including R, Python, SAS, STATA, Shiny, Analytica and others.
