Cemil ‘Jim’ Alyanak joined Risk Sciences International (RSI) in 2018 and serves as Vice-President, Communications and Strategic Initiatives. In this senior leadership role, he leads RSI’s risk communications practice, drives cross-cutting initiatives, advances strategic in-house projects, and expands the company’s international presence and partnerships. As creator of CRAFT (the Collective Risk Action Framework and Toolkit) and the Global Risk Census, Alyanak has helped establish RSI as a global innovator in stakeholder- and constituency-centered risk engagement. His expertise in perception analysis and communications strategy enables RSI to address complex challenges across public health, regulatory affairs, environmental risk, and humanitarian crisis response. From pandemic-era messaging to multistakeholder workshops and regulator support, his work consistently focuses on aligning message, audience, and outcomes that can be measured. Recognized for his ability to navigate cross-cultural contexts and indigenous knowledge systems, Alyanak has worked extensively on in-region projects with local and indigenous communities worldwide. This grassroots experience informs his current portfolio, which includes collaboration and consensus-building projects that unite stakeholders and constituencies in addressing both shared and similar risks. He also provides regional, federal, and international policy guidance to companies and governing bodies seeking to design risk-informed policies, instruments, and frameworks. Drawing on extensive emergency preparedness and disaster response experience, Alyanak now leads RSI’s Disaster and Emergency-related projects, advancing practical, risk-based solutions to complex emergencies and strengthening resilience across sectors.

Dr. Tee L. Guidotti is an esteemed international consultant in occupational and environmental medicine, specializing in risk management and sustainability. His work encompasses problem-solving, medical evaluation, medicolegal services, and extensive publishing and writing. Although retired from the George Washington University, he maintains active roles in teaching and research, holding adjunct faculty positions at West Virginia University and the University of Alberta. His interests span energy technologies, firefighter health, climate change adaptation, and science policy. Dr. Guidotti's contributions include over 300 papers, eight books, and numerous awards, notably the Knudsen Award for Lifetime Achievement in Occupational and Environmental Medicine in 2013. His focus now centers on environmental sustainability and health.

Daniel Krewski began his career in the federal government of Canada, focusing on programs within Health Canada, particularly in food safety and environmental health. Trained in mathematics, statistics, and biostatistics, his multidisciplinary background reflects the complex nature of risk science. He later transitioned to academia, founding the McLaughlin Centre for Population Health Risk Assessment at the University of Ottawa. There, he developed new methodologies and collaborated internationally. In 2006, he co-founded Risk Sciences International, aiming to provide expert advice on diverse risk issues. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping risk assessment frameworks used by organizations like Health Canada and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In 2023, Dr. Krewski passed the CEO's baton to Greg Paoli; he remains active as RSI Chief Risk Scientist.

Dr. Franco Momoli joined Risk Sciences International (RSI) in 2019 and currently serves as Vice-President, Chemical and Product Safety. In this role, he leads a multidisciplinary team of epidemiologists, risk assessors, toxicologists, and biostatisticians in conducting human health risk assessments related to environmental contaminants and consumer products. His practice group supports government agencies, regulatory bodies, and international partners in making science-informed decisions that safeguard public health.

Since joining Risk Sciences International in 2019, Martin has served in Business Development, leading RSI’s business expansion efforts across Canadian and global markets. He is instrumental in identifying and qualifying opportunities, coordinating multidisciplinary proposal teams, developing project frameworks, and supporting contract negotiations. His expertise spans the entire procurement spectrum, including competitive tenders, standing offers, supply arrangements, and unsolicited proposals.

Don Mattison's career is an amalgamation of medicine, science, and public service. He started with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, followed by a Master's from MIT in Chemistry. He then pivoted to medicine, obtaining an MD from Columbia University and focusing on pharmacology and toxicology in reproductive health during his residencies. Mattison has held several prestigious appointments, including Dean of the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health and Chief Medical Officer at Risk Sciences International. Throughout his career, he obtained medical licenses in six U.S. states and served in the U.S. Public Health Service, retiring with the rank of Captain. Most recently, he became a Distinguished Professor of Epidemiology at the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Al-Zoughool has maintained a long-standing relationship with Risk Sciences International, both as a scientific collaborator and as a co-investigator on complex international projects. His work with RSI focuses on high-level public health risk modeling, mechanistic data analysis, and toxicological risk assessment of major environmental contaminants in air, soil, and water, including formaldehyde, lead, and 1,4-dioxane. His research also extends to methodological innovation and the development of evidence-based strategies for environmental and occupational health policy.

Jennifer Go holds a BHSc in Health Sciences and an M.Sc. in Epidemiology, both from the University of Ottawa. Her academic work has spanned epigenetics, mental illness, and environmental exposures. Joining Risk Sciences International in 2017 as a Risk Analyst, she specializes in epidemiology. Jennifer's skill set includes systematic reviews, data manipulation, and statistical modeling. She has worked on diverse projects, ranging from pharmacoeconomic evaluations to analyses involving large datasets and electronic health records.

Andrew’s focus since retiring from the Canadian federal public service has been to help clients improve digital service delivery by maximizing the use of their data holdings and assisting government regulators in adopting risk-based compliance models derived from data on the individuals or businesses they oversee. This often involves developing risk models and determining how these models can be practically applied in the client’s daily operations.

As a Risk Management Expert at RSI, John Lark brings a wealth of practical and policy-level experience to support strategic risk frameworks, enterprise-level risk reviews, and board advisory services. He contributes to RSI projects that require deep knowledge of international standards (especially ISO 31000) and risk integration into organizational governance and operations. His advisory scope spans both public and private sector clients, often at the interface of policy, compliance, and strategic foresight.
