MPP is a UN-backed public health organization that negotiates licenses for patented medicines to increase access to life-saving treatments in low- and middle-income countries. It focuses on HIV, hepatitis C, tuberculosis, and COVID-19. MPP facilitates the production of affordable generics by licensing intellectual property.
