UNITAID is an international health initiative hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO). It funds innovative solutions to prevent, diagnose, and treat major diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria in low- and middle-income countries. UNITAID uses market-based approaches to improve access to affordable, high-quality medicines and health technologies.
