RSI experts Jennifer Go and Daniel Krewski, were recently invited to present a paper on maternal and child environmental heath during a global, virtual workshop originating in Foshan, Guangdong, China.
Daniel Krewski and Jennifer Go gave the workshop’s joint opening keynote presentation entitled: “Investigations into the Effects of Gestational Exposure to Environmental Phthalates on Maternal and Perinatal Outcomes and the Role of Inflammation Biomarkers as Potential Mediators.”
The presentation was based on Jennifer Go’s MSc thesis in epidemiology at the University of Ottawa using data from the Maternal-Infant Research on Environmental Chemicals (MIREC) Study, involving over 2,000 pregnant women recruited from 10 Canadian cites (https://www.mirec-canada.ca/en/).
