Pharma companies vow to not cut corners

Today the major global pharmaceutical companies issued a joint statement vowing not to cut corners with any potential COVID-19 vaccine. Going against an apparent move by the U.S. administration to rush the vaccine, perhaps before the U.S. presidential election, the pharmaceutical companies vowed to respect all safety and testing protocols. “We will not cut corners,” Pfizer chief Albert Bourla told reporters. The virtual meeting, which included many other Pharma CEOs was hosted by the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA).
