Intensive care units (ICU) are treating people on the floor and in long lineups outside. If one compares this peak, India’s second, to all other second peaks, it becomes evident that India is headed for disaster. At this time it is uncertain if India will catch up to the United States as regards both cases and deaths, but with a population of 1.3 billion, many say that this is very likely.
