Current Professional Role

Since 2002, Dr. Arnold has been a consultant to the International Aluminium Institute, the International Council on Mining and Metals, Rio Tinto, Activation Analysis Inc., TDV Global, EEM, and Sun Life.

Professional Experience

Dr. Arnold practiced in Labrador and Nouveau Quebec (1973-1981) as a general surgeon and as an occupational health (OH) consultant to Quebec Cartier Mining Ltd and the Iron Ore Company of Canada.

In teaching assignments, Dr. Arnold has held appointments with several Canadian Faculties of Medicine and is currently an Adjunct Professor at McGill University.

Academia, Publishing, Awards

Dr. Arnold completed his M.D. at Queen’s University in Kingston in 1968. He has published and/or presented over 100 papers and has received several honours for his work in occupational health and workplace psychological health and safety.
