Prior to joining Kuwait University, Dr. Al-Zoughool was an associate professor and director of the Quality Assurance & Academic Accreditation Unit, at the College of Public Health, King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Saudi Arabia. From 2006-2012, Dr. Al-Zoughool worked in Canada at the McLaughlin Center for Population Health Risk Assessment, University of Ottawa. Before that, he completed a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in Lyon, France from 2005- 2006.

Dr. Paul Price is an exposure and risk assessor who has recently retired from the Office of Research and Development of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa and a frequent guest lecturer. Dr. Price is active in the area of mixtures risk assessment. He is president of the Mixtures Specialty Section of the Society of Toxicology and has recently given a continuing education course on risks from combined exposures. Dr. Price serves on the European Food Safety Authority’s committee on risks from combined exposures. He was an invited speaker for the 2022 “ONE conference” in Brussels.
